About 320 youth from across the St. Cloud Diocese attended the Jan. 12 Winter Spectacular Junior High Youth Rally in Collegeville. Participants were welcomed to the Weber Center at St. John’s Preparatory School with song and dance. After everyone assembled, the youth danced with neon glow sticks as the room lights dimmed.

The day continued with ice breakers, prayer, blessing of cell phones, a talk by youth Jacenta Kresky, a keynote talk by Scott Frieler, director of youth ministry at Holy Spirit, St. Anthony and St. John Cantius parishes in St. Cloud, a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, lunch and Mass with Bishop Donald Kettler presiding. The event was sponsored by the St. Cloud Diocese and St. John’s Preparatory School in Collegeville.
