Catholic Men’s Conference to be held March 15 at SJU

The 15th annual Catholic Men’s Conference, “Men of Integrity in the New Evangelization,” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 15 at St. John’s University, Collegeville, features Monsignor C. Eugene Morris delivering two morning keynote speeches titled “Confidence in Christ Alone: The Nature of Catholic Discipleship” and “Evangelical Catholicism: The Only Sure Hope for Mankind.”

Msgr. Morris, from the Archdiocese of St. Louis, has hosted a weekly radio program on WRYT Catholic radio and is periodically a spiritual director for Inner Life, a program of Relevant Radio.

He is a weekly commentator on Catholic affairs for the Son Rise Morning Show on Sacred Heart Catholic Radio in Cincinnati and was recently appointed chairman of the Advisory Board for Newman Connection, which assists Newman Centers across the U.S.

Workshops will address strengthening marriage, Catholic teachings on death and medical decisions, rebuilding the church in Russia, stewardship, evangelization, the diaconate, rural challenges and more.

The track for Spanish speakers includes L. David Hernandez as keynote speaker and workshops in Spanish. English and Spanish speakers will gather together for the sacrament of reconciliation, the celebration of the Eucharist and lunch.

Registration is non-refundable and includes lunch and refreshments. The fee, through Feb. 14 is $32 per person, with groups of five or more registered together at $27 per person. (After Feb. 14, it will be $37 per person and $32 for groups of five.)
