About 450 people gathered for a special Mass to honor members of local religious communities for their vocations and service to the church Aug. 19 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud.

“As you look to the future, the world and the church needs your commitment to community life,” Bishop Donald Kettler said in his homily.“We need your daily dedication to common prayer for the church and for the world.”
